This is the best map. This is first time I am going to see Los Angeles. I am so interested in this city living the Midwest all of my life. We going to see the Dodgers play the Giants.

The map is not what I was expecting. I thought it would be more along the lines of the Trails Illustrated series with more detail, but that's my fault, not National Geographic. I think I should have looked more carefully at the product description.

The Los Angeles map by National Geographic is a very clear and tough waterproof paper map but it is mislabeled. I need a street map of L.A., all of L.A., so I can find the house locations of several friends in L.A. for when I visit-- these areas include Granada Hills, Northridge, Van Nuys, and Santa Claira. These are in the north area of L.A. and these and other areas are ignored completely. While this is an attractive map that covers only the tourist central areas of L.A. There is a "regional map" of all of L.A. on the flip side but it is far too small for use except for freeway locations. Only buy this map if you are a visiting tourist and only interested in an over-generalized, simplified map of the central, central west and south regions of L.A.

This map does not include the San Fernando Valley and north of Los Angeles county !!! The whole freeway 118 and a big part of freeway 210 are not there at all !! If you are from Los Angeles you know how incomplete this map is ! I am really disappointed. I hope they make a new complete version of this map because the print is good.

広げて使用するよくあるマップですが紙ではなくプラスチック？で出来ているので濡れたり破けたりせず丈夫です。しかもつや消しなので反射せず見やすいです。
