TLDR: Blank cards with lots of uses and basically limited by your imagination only. :)I wanted to make cards that would help in deciding which game to play. I marked number of players, standard amount of time to play and if dice or card game. Choose those 3 factors and randomly choose a card. This helps with playing the same games all the time, adding variety; you don't know what exactly you will be playing for that game. With a large game library and obscure game names, it helps to give some love (get play time) to the other less common but still fun games. Let fate decide. :)I also used these cards as dinner decision cards. Helps save the "well, what do you want to eat today". Separated by meal and time to make or prepare (snack, lunch, dinner).I do see where these would be GREAT in game creation! They are a standard card size that people expect and at 180 cards, there are enough cards to make more cards or make modifications to existing cards (rewrite to keep neat/clear). I shopped around and these were the best and gave the most cards for the price point. The cards are the weight of standard quality cards and one side had a linen like texture; this mimics many other quality playing card decks. I did find using a permanent marker was the best way to write on these because the cards have a finish on them and pens/pencils would not work well. There is some dry time to be aware of due to the finish on them but once dry there were no issues.

I use these instead of 3x5 index cards for creating flashcards for studying. They are a bit more expensive, but way more durable, and easier to carry in a pocket. On a 3x5 I would put a term or question on one side and the answer on the other. Then I would go through them one at a time repetitively to memorize. On the blank cards I'll create fewer cards but put multiple items on each one, otherwise the process is the same.I also have a couple phone apps for quizzing myself that I also use. The advantage of the cards is that it is easier to remember to pull them out because they take up space in my pockets. Apps on my phone can get lost within all the other apps I use on a regular basis, and it just becomes background noise.

I like the thickness of these and the matte finish. It still has a bit of sheen but just enough to make them easy to shuffle and deal. They are in packs of 45 and to me seem a good value for the price. Standard size and we are excited to use them to make our own card games for the family to enjoy. We used pencil and marker on the cards and they were very easy to write on.

Tried using these for: Tabletop gaming, artwork, TCGs, replacement cards, productivity/brainstorming toolsThe pros: this pack does exactly what it sets out to do. It's a giant deck of blank playing cards. I use them as a productivity tool now, and occasionally as a thumbnailing tool. They shuffle nicely compared to notecards. The cons: mostly, it's not capable of doing anything fancier due to the semi-gloss varnish on the surface. I don't rate anything 5 star unless it blows me away, so take that as a compliment to the product.Details:I'm an artist, so I was hoping to be able to use my usual micron/copic ink pens on these. The cards still do their intended job, but the only thing that writes on them without wiping right off is sharpie. These cards are probably fine for basically any other use...flashcards, game design testing, whatever. For art use, you're better off with Strathmore Artist Trading Cards in sleeves, assuming you're not drawing right on top of your MTG cards (you know, like sane people who aren't me, apparently). For MTG (Magic The Gathering) and other TCG (Trading Card Games) testing or as replacement cards for board games - These cards feel like real playing cards, which is cool...but they do need sleeves if you want to play with them in any serious game, since they're backless, and you won't be able to reliably reproduce the back side artwork on these. These do make game design playtests feel a lot more "real," which is a surprisingly important morale factor on a design team. Highly recommend for that purpose.Just keep in mind that a semi-gloss finishing layer has already been applied to the paper if you want to use it for anything more artsy, or if you're trying to get more repeatable/precise graphic results. Now enjoy your blank deck of cards while I go ponder why I spent so much time analyzing the merits of a very reasonably priced stack of tiny paper. Good luck with your creative projects.

I'm happy I purchased these cards. I use them to make my own cards to go along with my tarot readings. It's fun to put my own art on them & I can get more detailed readings. I first write down the words or phrases I want, in pencil, on one side then I can go over it with colored pencils, pens or markers as I finalize the pictures on the cards. Now I just need to come up with designs for the backs of the cards and I'm set.I highly recommend these cards for creating your own fun games and for making studying more entertaining. I think it would also work well to just let children (or the child in you) loose and do whatever they want with them. Imagination is the most fun thing to work with and these cards give you great freedom with creating new ideas. I will be purchasing them again.

I really wanted some of these type cards for a variety of reasons. Initially to make game night around the house creative. And we did. We then put lottery numbers on them and we each chose our winners. But we didnt win. But it was fun. I then got more serious and used some of them to label totes in my garage so I will know what the heck is actually in them. I wrote down on a tablet of paper what I was putting in Tote #1 and taped that card to that tote. But, I went into my computer and made myself a google sheet to list exactly what I had put in each tote. Now, whenever I look for an item, I simply refer to my google sheet and go get that labeled tote. What a time saver. For the money, I got lots of uses from these cards.

Absoloutely loved the quality of these blank cards. They are the size of typical card decks and were perfect for my custom drinking game which I used sharpie, let it dry, then it was perfect and didn’t smear. They are also just as this of typical card decks!

The product is not as advertised. Received business size and quality cards. No rounded edges, not correct size or advertised material.

I used these to make a board game for a class assignment, and they worked great! Not all pens work well on them - I used sharpies and acrylic paint pens. But, they are sturdy.

They seem just the slightest bit too thin, but that is personal taste - they feel pretty close to a playing card, mtg, pokemon, or other tcg. The finish allows the cards to be written on easily. The cuts are near perfect, nicely beveled edges. They are wrapped in packs of 45 and flat packed. Would definitely recommend!
