Louisville Slugger is a very reputable brand when it comes to wooden bats. The feel of the bat is absolutely astonishing for the pricing.How it broke- Used this bad boy in a cage with a pitching machine of 50mph-70mph. Was it a good idea to use a wooden bat against a machine? Absolutely not.I used this in field play with friends, and there was no issues with the durability of the bat. The weight and balance is very good and I enjoyed hitting with this bat.For the price of this bat, it's very budget friendly for folks who are getting back/into the sport. I would recommend having one for training, and one for games. Would buy again

Amazing bat. Actually much better than a $200 composite bat I bought, has real pop and can handle pitches up to 90mhp... even after getting jammed a few time.
