My daughter used it once, and it promptly broke. It scratched up her trumpet badly while doing so. Do not buy.

This lyre works pretty well. We did have to tighten it A LOT for it to stay in place, but once we got it set, it held the flip book very easily. It is sturdy, solid metal and the rubber stays on the bottom both keep it in place and protect the finish of my trumpet.

The title is self-explanatory. Although the red rubber stayed on for two uses, it suddenly ripped apart and scratched my trumpet which really upset me. The folio was falling to the right and left. Do not recommend 😕

would not recommend. Scratched up the bell of my trumpet. Terrible quality and the silicon came off within a week.
