Yes, they do cut paper but aren’t going to cut your kid. We love them at our house. Cute, colorful, and much less worrisome than traditional scissors.

I was skeptical. My husband ordered this after losing my son’s scissors. “This one is safer†was what he told me, “It’s plastic. I have never seen a plastic scissors that cuts paper well,†was my reply. A few days later this arrived and I ripped it out ready to show him that I was right and lo and behold this thing cut through paper like a knife through butter. Needless to say I ate crow that day and my husband rejoiced because this was the 3rd time he’s been right.Get these scissors they actual cut pretty well.

These are great beginner scissors for kids. Fun bright colors, easy to use, sharp enough to practice cutting paper, a great value for your money. A good size for young kids to hold and safe for them to use.

Surprisingly work well cutting paper with no sharp edges. Great for toddler.

The scissors aren't bad for the price, but the tips don't cut at all and the kids have a hard time cutting because there is too much play in the scissors. If they were held a little tighter together it may solve the problem. But as I said for the price they are okay. The kids love the designs on them.
