I own several play kits from Lovevery (via paid subscription) and also their play gym that was purchased for my first child years ago. For those who may not be familiar with Lovevery, their toys are based on the Montessori method and this company has a team of about a dozen advisors, including professors, psychologists, and authors, all offering a wide range of skills and backgrounds to ensure that each toy is developmentally appropriate.Just like the other play kits I own, this one also comes with a booklet that explains the stage your child is currently in, as well as suggestions for how and when to play with each toy — and research-based information on why it helps your baby’s development. As a new mom, I enjoyed learning about what was going on with my baby’s vision/motor skills with each kit. It was also helpful because it gives great suggestions on playing with your child at that stage.Yes, the kits are expensive. If these aren’t within your budget, there are plenty of knock-offs on Amazon that may satisfy your needs. However, I have had the opportunity to play with a small handful of off-brand kits and I can immediately tell the difference in the quality. Lovevery simply makes high-quality toys. The wood they use is sturdy, solid, and smooth. The fabrics used are typically organic, soft but durable. I’ve run several fabric toys through my washing machine and they still look new. The little door on a play cube we own opens and closes smoothly after years of play thanks to the durable hinges they use. This is important if you plan to pass these down to your next child; and expect them to hold up after years and years of rough play. (Not to mention Lovevery toys have an excellent resale value too!) From personal experience, my almost 3 year old has been going back and playing with some of her older toys from when she was younger and I can honestly say that they all look like new. It is definitely worth the cost to us but like I said, if it’s not within your budget it’s not within your budget and there are other kits out there that may be fine if you don’t plan to resell the toys or pass them down.This particular play kit for one year olds is no different than any other kit we’ve owned, as far as the durability and quality is concerned. Everything inside this box feels top notch. My 3 yo even loves playing with the toys although we are saving it for our 2nd child who’s currently too young for it. If you’re not able to afford an entire kit, the company does make some toys that can be purchased separately which is nice if you’re on a tight budget.Overall we highly recommend this play set by Lovevery and look forward to purchasing additional ones as our little ones continue to grow!

I’m very pleased with this “Babbler†play kit from Lovevery, meant for ages 13-15 months. The pieces are designed by child development experts to be both fun and developmentally age appropriate for your little one, and safe too of course. The high quality of the materials used (lots of solid natural wood) gives me added peace of mind and makes this box a pretty good value for your money (if you tried to find comparable pieces separately you would spend even more- I tried, lol). The toys are aesthetically pleasing as well, with lots of natural wood and more muted colors that are still fun. I really like the guide book that comes with the kit which gives a ton of suggestions for how to encourage your child to play with each toy in different ways, milestones for their age, as well as additional ideas for play! The kit also includes a little ‘roadmap’ of the suggested order to introduce each toy to your child, which I found helpful. This playlist came with a bonus board book as well (only one was pictured on the toy list)! In addition to the “Bedtime for Zoe†book it had “Crew’s Shoes†which is interactive with foldout doors (for the fridge, cupboards, closet etc) to have your LO help Crew look for his missing shoe; very cute! My toddler really enjoys playing with all the toys; I would highly recommend this box and look forward to trying more offerings from this company! Nice to see them available on Amazon instead of having to subscribe to the company directly.

This review is for the Lovevery babbler play kit.Our toddler has thoroughly enjoyed playing with just about every lovevery kit, from the time she was an infant. Incredibly durable - will easily outlive your child and then some if you plan to have other kids or wish to pass it on.We discovered that our toddler had some interesting reactions to the different faces of children in the circle of friends puzzle - some she didn't mind seeing, and others she would be well motivated to put the piece back over.Is it expensive? It is - but you'll probably find used ones in your local groups for a bit less depending on condition. This is a great gift for a new family and our toddler has thoroughly enjoyed playing with hers while leveling up her skills in gross/fine motor movements and object permanence.

Very impressed with this learning crate. I have tried other crates similar to this before with my daughter and was not overly impressed with the level of educational items in them (seemed to young for where she was at) and the quality was just ok for the price on that item. This is significantly better than others. The packaging instantly sets in apart and the quality of the items is amazing. They are so well thought out for learning and fun for little and truly include unique items for their age. I also appreciate the thought that goes into providing educational reading materials for parents as well so you can get the most out of the items and be sure to maximize the toys for learning. Very impressed and would highly recommend. This would be a lovely gift.
