My wife has had several sling bags are most are pretty much the same. This one is a little different as it's a little flatter (until you fill it) than most of the others. This is not a bad thing since it has lots of little compartments to fit things in a and can be worn comfortably close to your body. It's very lightweight as well. A nice option for a compact bag.

I love crossbody bags. I have a bunch, they're great for museum outings when I don't want a big purse but need some things. This one is really attractive, and has some good and some okay characteristics.The good: It's a vinyl-like material (like a rain jacket) so I imagine it'll be a bit water-resistant. It's lightweight. The zippers all work really well and smoothly. It's sewn well. The strap is wide and comfortable, and has some padding. The pockets are spacious.The okay: The material feels a bit cheap (but not terribly so, I think it'll hold up). There are no interior pouches (like for ids). There is one completely useless pouch (the snap one) since it's actually a large pouch, but you can't fit your hand in the opening, so ... why? It's not reversable - it goes over your right shoulder only.There's nothing I'd call "bad" and I'll certainly be using this a lot when I'm wearing a coordinating outfit!

I'm reviewing the Lovevook Anti-Theft Crossbody Sling Bag in beige color. This sling bag measures 11 1/2" (at the tallest part) x 8 1/2", the strap is sewn at the top and only has a single clip at the bottom, so you can only wear it in one direction....or wear it so the bag is on your backside..."or" if they add another D ring, then you can wear this bag vertically. I'm a fan of Lovevook brand, however, this bag is quite disappointing. The top zipper flaps has a gap (they are supposed to meet together so the zipper looks tidy and hidden). There is a small pocket near the top with a snap button closure, I can barely fit my entire right hand into it but it is very tight at the opening, if they widen this then the pocket would be more effective.
