This longer length is a great value. I have med size dogs, 40-45lbs. I actually have my husband cut them in half. They take a few hours to finish them and I take them away when they get down to a swallow size. Though even if they do swallow a chunk it hasn't caused a problem as they are digestible. They have a flavor, a little smelly, but the dogs love them and they don't seem to stain. They are a compressed, not solid rawhide, so they do come apart in layers, but it is not an issue and it has totally cleaned their teeth so I don't have to brush them anymore!!!!

My dog is a super chewer. These don't last as long as I would like, but nothing does. I purchased other brands and they smelled terrible. These do not! Keeps him occupied for about 20 minutes.

I have always given my dogs compressed bones. Never had an issue. I have a 12 week old puppy that likes to chew and thought this would be safe for him. The sharp piece of bone that is in the picture was in his mouth going down his throat! That could have been a foreign body surgery or it could have killed him!

My dog loves these bones! Her paws get sticky from holding on to them while she is eating them,but otherwise...she loves them!

These bones are great and MUCH better than just regular, rolled rawhide, but they are listed incorrectly in at least one place on Amazon. I ordered a package of 10 bones, and received in the mail ONE bone! The company was very understanding and issued a refund, but just make sure that what's listed is really what you're ordering. Hope they have since fixed this issue!

This treat gives me a nice chunk of peace and quiet!;). My dogs work on them for quite a while and then they’ll rest for a bit and continue on with the chewing.
