These new bearing nylon pullies reduce cable drag, requiring less effort from the men and equipment. This is a heavy duty pulley that is ideal for low voltage cable pulling and installation. The pulley has rolling anti-friction bearings for a smooth and reduced friction rolling action. The body of the pulley has a swiveling snap hook on one end. It also has an integrated beam flange clamping set of two bolts on the body's other end. The body has a hinged gated that can be opened to allow insertion of the cable at any point along its' length. The gate has a locking tab to keep it closed. The pulley' s roller is plastic to minimize damage to the cable's jacket.Would recommend this to anyone.

Cool concept for a pulley. It's quite large, probably intended more to be used on poles rather than indoors, but should work fine in drop ceilings and the like. My main complaint is that the hook has a very small opening, so it's hard to clip onto things. The gate over the pulley is easy to open and the pulley rolls smoothly.

Functioned as designed, during several wire pulls, this week, in conduit sizes ranging from 2", to 4". The construction of this snatch block is good, and after several large-gauge pulls, it still held tight tolerances. We did not test it's abilities in the bolt-in-place capacity, but it worked well, when hung up. It aided us well, this week, and will continue to do so. I recommend it.

This is bigger than I thought it would be. I can pull an entire bundle of cat6 cable through an attic with this. It seems to be built for much larger and heavier cable than I normally use.
