This was a pain in the butt to install....Thanks to shark for so many screws and you need a "safety" type star wrench...and it has to be longer than a regular one....however...the hose itself is WONDERFUL!!! No more leaks!!! My vacuum is back to full power!!! Also, this hose comes as a set of two so I am giving the other one to my sister for when her shark hose cracks. Once again (through zero fault of the hose part itself) it was a major pain to install but saved me tons of money versus taking it to a shop to be replaced....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO BUY THIS HOSE AND DYI !!!

I checked with local repair places and online sites. Everything pointed to my vacuum not being repairable. I found these hoses and it stated they would fit my Shark Nv 650. I only needed one and it fit perfectly. The problem was trying to disassemble the powerhead. Shark is notorious for using screw heads that no screwdriver fits. Fortunately, my husband is creative and figured out how to remove (and reinstall) the screw(s) without a special tool. The vacuum is back together and working better than it has in a long time. The hose must have been cracked and leaking for a while. All this time I thought the beaterbar needed to be replaced. This happened once before (a few years ago) and at that time I could not find a hose replacement and had to buy a whole new powerhead, $$$. Wow, what a find this was! I recommend taking notes on where the screws came from as there are many, in different sizes. That way you won't waste time trying to remember.

I love my Shark vacuum but the hoses dry rot very fast especially if you suck up any kind of liquid. I search for replacement hoses for a while had to send one set back already and then I found these. They seem to be very durable and thick. It was easy to install into my vacuum, the hose was a little longer than expected but is squished in there and gave more pressure against the vacuum itself which I think is a good thing it should hold in there very well. It's clear white so you cannot tell it's under there, I've had it on my vacuum for about a month and a half two months now no problems great product would buy again

I needed to replace the split hose on a Hart vacuum. This hose is used on the similar Shark vacuums. This hose Is a little to big in diameter but I lubricated it and forced it into the head. Once it was in place it worked well. Seems to be heavy duty hose so expecting a longer life than the original hose. It comes in pairs so I have another if the repair is needed again in the future. Installing it on the Hart is not an easy job but with a little patience it beats buying another unit.

This came quick and was a decent price for two lower hoses. The plastic seems close to the original's thickness and the wire inside seems about the same stiffness. It was the correct size and I didn't have to cut anything to make it fit. You do have to purchase some glue to use on both ends. I used E6000 from the big 'W' store. The included little brush is pointless. I just blew the dirt off and had to use the tip of a screwdriver to clean away the old glue. The new hose screwed right in to the vacuum side and the adapter on the other end of the hose. Seems to be working as intended. Would buy again.

After looking high and low for a replacement for my shark navigator nv105, I found this based on diameter and length. It is a direct replacement for the lower hose on the Shark NV105. Glad I found it. I now have a spare for when this one eventually wares out.
