I installed the valve seals on my 06 Ls 5.3l motor. You could probably use a socket but would risk damaging the seals. Glad I bought it.

Fits on my Comp Cams 511-16 stem seal kit. The eye bolt threaded area should be longer, very steep pushing the seals over not down. Used the hammer out of a roll pin kit.

Product is great but really not needed for valve seal install. I was able to used a standard deep socket and push them on by hand. Fortunately it was cheap so no real loss there.
