Unreliable UV bulb in terms of quality. I purchased it as it was priced higher compared to other cheaper options but it went out on me in less than a month. Not sure it is a manufacturing defect or quality of the production. But I am out of 30 day return period and looking for what company has to offer for this unexpected bad product - I hope it has warranty beyond 30 days.[UPDATE] : A new bulb is shipped over to me promptly. Once I receive it I will plug in and provide update on my review.

These lamps are great as they get rid of the algae that cloud tank water (use them on both our indoor and outdoor fish tank/pond). Typically last a couple of years. Sizes of bulbs (length) a little hard to estimate, best to disassemble your pump and remove/measure the bulb and check the base fitting. A slightly shorter bulb will work fine.
