Easy to install. Absolutely leak free without having to use manufacturer torque figures.A great product - the third application on this vehicle.

I recently purchased a used 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8; it's always been a bit of a dream vehicle of mine. The WK1 SRT8s come with the Dana 44A or the 44HD, and the bolt pattern is just ever so slightly different from the standard Dana 44.I wanted to change out the differential fluid on the Jeep just to be safe, as it's such an easy process, but I really didn't want to bother with RTV, even though I think the manual calls for it. Plus, honestly, it's ugly. There was old RTV that had seeped out the sides of the differential and just looked like a mess. I bet you wouldn't see that on a high-end restoration; I didn't want to see it on my Jeep, either.Stumbled upon this Lubelocker gasket and for the price, figured I would give it a whirl. I, honestly, have never applied RTV before and, while I'm sure I could do it, slapping on a gasket and calling it a day seemed like the far more attractive option. The gasket arrived on time and was extremely high quality. The center is metalized with some sort of polymer (or something) "backing" with rubberized channels that act as the seal.On the day of the installation, I took off the differential cover, cleaned it up, and put back on the gasket as part of the fluid change. For the life of me, I don't know why ANYONE would bother with RTV when these exist. No waiting for the RTV to cure, no mess, just put on the gasket, snug up the bolts and done. I took the Jeep for a few test drives and did my weekend errands with it, and no leaks whatsoever. There's not much more to it. This gasket was well worth the money. Ditch the RTV and go Lubelocker!

Boy, I love this. No fuss with messy RTV and and a much cleaner installation. Not a drop has leaked. Bit pricy but if you think you may have to go back into the diff take my word for it, it's worth it.

This is the correct gasket for the 97-98 Grand Cherokee ZJ w Dana 44A HD, 5.2 V8. It is 11†tall and 10.25†wide. Note that an RDS 6629 looks very similar but is 2†too small. This fits perfectly.

Perfect fit, go with the Lube Lockers, not some wonky off brand seller. Came fast, used for a 2004 Jeep Cherokee. No messing around with rtv, no wait time. Very impressed, and the price is fair.

This is my second go round using LubeLocker gaskets on my 01 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited differentials (front and rear) and will never use a different brand again. This is a quality made product with ease of installation, a perfect leak free fit and all at a fair price! You cannot go wrong with LubeLocker!!

Used on 03 Grand Cherokee D44A. Worked like a champ, no leaking many months (2 years??) after purchase, still holding tight. I no longer dread the next differential service.

Used this to seal the rear axle cover on my Jeep. No leaks, and it will be super easy to service the axle in the future.
