Great, Very heavy duty bar. Can be mounted in a standard stud drywall wall as long as you mount to the studs, but Don't use the lag bolts they give you because they are too short. Go out and buy eight 3/8 x 3" lag bolts with washers, Might want to use a piece of 3' x 2' x 1/4" plywood behind it as not to damage your drywall. I used an existing thick plastic poster I had.

This product is great it's the INSTRUCTIONS that SUCKS! It says hammer the screws in the wall then you can't get the bolts off of on.. smh. After he finally got it together he loves it! Just be careful with instructions lol

Sturdy enough design for me @ 225#, Way better and more versatile than a door jamb system( multiple grips, dips, leg lifts, pad eyes for any attachment you can think for them(pulleys etc), removable for storage, adjustable(2 additional hooks) for different heights). It could mount to a rack if you got creative with 2x6's. You can use it on the floor for different grips for calisthenics. For ~90$ it will get you going if YOU want to workout. Minus one star for; Pads and Upholstery quality is typical bargain type. Grips seem to be of a durable foam rubber, I would prefer tape just a piece of rubber hose or nothing at all over foam that WILL collapse overtime with body weight work. Metal could be a touch thicker because it is possible to crush the tubes by over tightening the fasteners. The supplied bolts and tools should only be used if you cannot obtain something better.

Now that I've used this a few days, I will share my thoughts. Assembly was fairly easy and took about 20 minutes, the instructions were adequate and bare bones. I put this on a drywall interior wall, so I used a few 2x4's secured to studs for mounting. I had to furnish my own lag bolts, as it only came with (kinda cheesy) concrete anchors, but I suspected that would be the case and had some in my garage. You can install the mounting hooks directly to studs in some cases, as they can be placed 16 inches apart (although the bottom of the unit pressing on the wall during use may cause some marring, but would press on the drywall at the studs, so wouldn't push through), but in my case the interior wall had studs set 24 apart. I already exercised that day, but of course I had to try it out, so did a few pull ups, dips, and leg raises to see how it felt and check my installation. I found the padding comfortable and everything felt solid. So, so much better and more versatile than using a door pull up bar. If you have some knowledge on how to secure this to your wall of choice, and plan accordingly, I highly recommend this item.
Works great for plastic and tar paper....

It's heavy duty and versatile design makes it perfect.... I've had this for several months and havent been able to break it since I'm a 230 lb man.... Also like the ability to do chin ups, pull ups, dips, and even Australian pull ups...

It's not perfect but I think it is still a great value. The quality of the finish and welds are fine. Once assembled, it is ridged and I have no doubt about its ability to handle 300lbs. The assembly instructions are OK, but rely on visual clues, for instance make sure the lower hooks clear the elbow pads when hanging the unit for chin-up bar configuration. They are depicted mounted slightly narrower than the top hooks, but there is no reference as to why. That should have been specified. Also after using the leg lift configuration I noticed that my elbows tended to work their way to the outside and slip off. I added a 15 degree wooden wedge under each elbow pad and that fixed the problem. The wall mounting grid in the picture is made of two x fours, lap jointed and glued. It is mounted to a standard construction sheetrock/stud wall.

It's really only suitable for mounting on concrete. The lag bolts provided are only 1 1/4 inches long after the 1/4 inch steel and 1/2 inch drywall, that's only 1/2 inch in the stud. It also will not work on 24 inch on center studs (not common). I put 1/2 inch boards over my drywall because I was afraid those rubber bumpers that are near, but not on the stud would punch through the drywall. I also used 4 inch lag bolts. 3 1/2 inch lag bolts probably would have been fine.

Great item. Four stars instead of five because bars are a bit close together for dips, the main reason I bought this.

So the description states this is a:-Multifunctional wall mounted pull up bar/chin Up bar, dip station for home gym, indoor workout, support to 440 lbs. This pull up bar supports up to 31.4 stone. As we have turned the garage into a home gym, this has been a new addition. But first thing we had to do was to check where it was going to be installed was actually suitable for it to be placed and support the weight.Secondly depending in the height of who's useing this equipment, to where your going to fit the hooks to hold this in place. When measuring remember the actual hooks hang lower than where the holes are drilled. Whe we did was to hold it to the wall and place a hook on and while I was stood there we were able to mark the wall. Then we doubles checked and used a level to mark out the matching hook.Repeated this for the top hooks too.The instruction are pretty straight forward, but you knowen don't like instructions, they like to make it up as they go along lol. This is gonna save us a pretty penny, as we no longer have a gym membership since covid and I'm not wanting to go back just yet because I still don't think it's safe. But this has made a good addition to our ever growing home gym.I would recommend because your able to work alot of different parts of your body and different exercises with one apparatus. Win win.So far so good. But I will update this review if needed.*** Specification:- * Material:- 11# Steel * Backrest:- PU Leather * Color:- Black * Pullup bars from wall:- 19" (48 cm) * Wide grip-- 37.4" (95cm) * Dip bars from wall:- 30.3" (77 cm)
