Based on measurements, I ordered the XXL.When it arrived, I tried it on my 75lb Shepherd mix only to think it was way too big. Tried it again later and realized I'd put it on her with the longer side on top (therefore upside down) and that's why it looked too long. As you can see, it's a perfect fit!This baby isn't feeling well and I want the vet to be able to hear me when we go in for X-rays & blood work instead of hearing her bark incessantly due to nerves.I will caution you to measure your dog!!! The chart says a labrador will probably wear an XXL, but the size reference photos indicate the lab is only wearing an XL (same as the husky) which doesn't agree with the size chart.The dog I bought this for has never worn a muzzle till I purchased this one. She's not very bothered by it.Highly recommend this to have on hand!!Update: After visiting the vet, I know it doesn't stop her from barking, but I think it helped. Plus it makes everyone at the vet more comfortable (including me). Even though she's not a biter, she's very anxious. I feel more comfortable knowing she's not scaring staff with her tough (scared) bark. Even if she does bark now, the muzzle removes concern of being bitten

I initially purchased this muzzle and gave it a very poor rating. I returned it for a larger size. This one is great. It's very sturdy, easy to slip on and buckle. Our dog doesn't mind it at all. He's been wearing it for 7 months. It also helps curb the incessant barking he does on walks. The first one I got, did not fit. I measured my dog according to Lucky Paw's instructions. Although the eye to tip of snout circumference was on target, the snout circumference was way off. Dog couldn't even open mouth enough to pant. Not good on hot day. Helps with a lot of his incessant barking while walking too. The return policy was great and the company assured me they would work to make the fit more accurate. I am now very pleased with our muzzle and walks.

This is a lightweight mesh muzzle and is very breathable. I don't use it on my dogs constantly, but when they chew or constantly bark. I introduced it to my dogs and they are not frightened of it. I do have to check the head strap because it loosens up and my dogs make a game of getting it off. It does prevent them from bitting each other when they play rough. It does fit them well and I chose the muzzle the recommended for my breed. I would recommend these muzzles because they don't seem to interfere with my dogs' activities. I would buy them again and I think they are a good value.

I have a SHIH TZU and I ordered a size small based on the description given. Size small is way too small. Perhaps a medium would be a better fit. Maybe I’ll order a medium at another time.

I purchased a medium for my 21lb heeler and it is too small. Watch the size guide carefully. The muzzle area is not adjustable.

Ordered the largest size the have, since its for a growing Pitbull pup that is tearing my house/yard/everything apart. This helps for the most part, but still manages to get into some trouble.The quality of the muzzle is good, nice and wide. Very breathable, so suitable for leaving on for extended periods of time.

I ordered the XXL for my American bully. The snout opening is so small. Also the strap that goes around their head is not very secure. A few tugs with paws and it stretched out enough for him to pull it off.
