Probably would be fine with actual 4x6 like it is made for. I tried to use it with doubed 2x6's and they were too wide for me.

Got these to build a platform for a float. The description was spot on. They arrived on time and the shipping and packaging was awsome. The value was good. Compared to my local store they were about 25 cents cheaper per hanger. Which these days you have to save pennies anywhere you can.
