This product is more sturdy than the metal sheet product I purchased at the Home Improvement store. Easy to install and I love the adjustable tracks. My LED thin recessed lights fit snug to the opening. Great product!!

The mounting plates were exactly what I need to mount 3' low profile lights in a sloped cathedral ceiling. And they came before the promised date which was another plus. BUT they were not boxed well at all and were VERY dented and distorted in the box. The box showed no signs of damage on the out side. And only half the mounting hardware was with it. Luckily they were thin enough to be reshaped by hand and installed. And one trip to Lowes for some addition mounting hardware to replace what was missing. Otherwise a great product for mounting lights in shallow space.

We use these to support 6†LED Recessed lights in very flimsy 2ft by 4ft drop ceiling panels. No “can†is required. They worked great, and kept the drop ceiling panels from sagging. Also used these to mount additional recessed lights in a portion of the basement with open joists. Seller processed order promptly, and items arrived in good condition

Used this in our basement finish to put in a spring clip slim led in the center of our shower under duct work where a can was impossible. Excellent solution to be able to pre wire light box and have placement perfect prior to drywalling. Temp wired light in already and light is sitting in just this metal frame, not bending at all very solid even without drywall.
