Tips

I purchased two kinds of puck lights, this LUXSWAY LED one (from Amazon) and a similar Great Value brand. I got this pack because I need several, and they come with the batteries. I got the other brand (also with batteries installed) because it claimed to be brighter. As far as apparent quality, this one beats the other one easily. (The other brand fell on the floor into its component parts, with batteries falling out of it, just removing it from the package, and the clear plastic dome over the light is still loose when assembled, with lots of play and room for rattling.) These are packaged very well. They have a good, solid feel, with no slop or rattling. So far, its adhesive works well to keep it in place.The one odd thing about these puck lights is that the bottom part that needs to be removed (for changing batteries and for initially removing the little plastic tab between one of the batteries and its terminal) is so shallow that I couldn't get a grip on it to rotate and remove the bottom for access to the batteries. I had to remove the paper cover from the adhesive area and install the puck light. Then, the bottom had the grip so it was possible to rotate the top to remove it and take out the little plastic tab, then replace and rotate the top onto the installed bottom. Then I pushed the clear plastic dome to turn on the light to test it. It fits together well and seems to work fine, and it's much better made than the other product.

Adhesive is good and sticks well to wall. Lights up very well.
