Nicely and simply packaged, this is essentially a tube of some plasticky sort of internal material with a very soft felt like cover. At the ends of the tubes are some conspicuous seems so it's not so much like a pillow in that the pillow will adopt various shapes and conform to your body, but rather it is a inflated tube more akin to a inflatable tube you might use in a pool just with a soft outer coating. As such if you're looking for a body conforming soft pillow-like product this might not be the thing you're looking for. However depending on how much you inflate it it can become a reliable backstop or side pillow. The images they portray of a person hugging the pillow I would generally associate with more of a pillow like product as opposed to more of a inflated tube like product. However I could certainly imagine curling up with this thing and frankly the only reason I can't do it now is because I had have had shoulder surgery and I'm stuck on my back for 2 months. So what I'm doing is I'm using this on my side to essentially prevent me from rolling around with this pillow being the architecture beneath my normal bed pillows thus creating a an edge to my bed that keeps me in place. I have to say that for me it works really well even though I'm probably not the intended purpose.Because it's interior is likely some thick plastic, it does have that kind of crunchy crinkly sound when you move against it because although the felt is quite soft even if it's not plush, the interior is at the end of the day plastic that makes noise.I've had mine now inflated for a couple of days and over those few days it has lost some of its air but I did not consider that a big deal and it's easy to blow back up or, rather, to blow up to the point where you can be most comfortable.In summary I'd say this is a versatile and worthwhile pillow to have at the house. Check the dimensions because it did feel a little smaller than we expected from the photographs. It's 36 in Long by 8 in diameter. I'm just beginning to find the various uses for it around the house and the couches and the beds and I'm glad to have it. I'm not sure I'll be using it quite so much as the photograph implies of sort of a hugged bedmate, but for those who want that I think I would suggest more of a pillow product unless traveling is part of your equation has the inflatable quality allows you to pack it down really small. If travel is relevant then this condenses down into a small lightweight item and the nice pouch they give could easily fit into your carry on without taking up very much space at all. The pouch is about 6 in by 8 in and probably when filled up takes about 3 in in the depth dimension.I hope this helps it's a great product for those people who want a large travel pillow shaped like this .

Whenever I travel I miss having a body pillow but I don't bring mine because it takes up too much room.This is really handy. I can keep it in my suitcase when I'm not using it so I don't forget it the next time I travel. And, it doesn't take up very much room.I have a car vacuum that has attachments to put on the back to blow things up so that works with this and i usually have it worth me when driving somewhere so that's handy.I do wish it had the smaller hole you can blow up manually in case you forget the pump or it runs out of charge or something. It would be nice as a backup I guess. Also, I like that you can sort of pinch those off until you get the plug in. They seem to lose less air than bigger holes because of the time it takes to pull out the pump and plug the hole. I wasn't able to get this pillow really firm because of the air lost in those few seconds. It's alright for me because I don't like it really firm. Others may want it really firm.The pillow is comfortable and a good length and width. I like the softness of the material on the outside however I think I'll probably use a pillowcase with it.I wish the bag was longer. I found it easiest to just roll it up as it squeezed the air out but if you use the bag you have to push out the air first, then fold it in half, then roll it up. Silly to add all the extra steps just to make it for in the bag.

The size is just right for using as a back bolster if you're on the floor, or something to lean against next to you if you're watching TV on a bed, or as a bolster pillow. Can be used as a support while doing stretches or other exercise. In general, it offers a lot of possibilities.The velvet cover is very soft.There is a button for inflation: It clicks in to let air in or out, clicks out to seal it shut. Makes it really easy to inflate without losing air. There is also a standard tab that closes over it. I found it very easy to inflate by mouth.And you can use the button feature to let just a bit of air out at a time if you want to let the pillow deflate to get softer. That's a really nice feature.Well designed product!

This inflatable pillow is perfect for traveling. I like the way the material feels, it's soft and velvet-like. While it's possible to blow this up with lung power, it's better to use a small inflater. I have one for camping and it filled this pillow up quickly. It provides decent support, but it's not long enough to be a true body pillow. However, it's worth having if you travel a lot or like extra support when camping. The valve works well and can lock or be pushed down to release some air. It comes with a small carrying bag and elastic band to keep it rolled. Overall, it's a decent product and the price seems fair.
