I've had some horns that were nowhere close to their rated volume, but this one definitely sounds like 105dB.I don't have a sound meter to confirm the exact volume, but it was painfully loud when I tested it on the workbench about 18" from my head...Connected it to a 1.7A power supply, didn't pop the breaker so they didn't under-state the current requirements.

For the price this aint a bad horn & bracket for most 2 wheels. It's ok on my Harley and seems to be about the same as my stock Harley horn but it weighs about half as the stock one does. This horn would be great for bikes and electric bikes and ok for motorcycles but not the best. It's great for a custom build motorcycle as it's very universal and bracket is easy to find a spot for to bolt. The look of the horn is good but mine did co.e with some grime stains on it and that's part of why I deducted a star. Overall though, it's does work good enough for most needs.

Bolts to factory mount for second horn on Honda CRV. Works perfect when you buy the dual horn harness and the plug in adaptor to connect from this harness to this second horn.
