Tip for tuning your new ukulele:
Are you finding your new ukulele always needs tuning every time you want to play it? This is really common, particularly with new strings. Nylon strings take a certain amount of stretching before they settle down and hold their tune.
How to solve: tune it to the desired note, then pull up on the string over the sound hole to give it a bit of a stretch. That'll take it down about 2 whole notes, tune it back up and repeat until it stays in tune. A lot of folks who maybe don't used to stringed instruments, especially nylon strings, get frustrated, but don't worry, these are decent strings, they just need a good stretch!

I teach interactive kids music classes. (loud, rhythmic classes with overly enthusiastic kids) More than 100 kids have beaten the music out of this poor uke for 3 years now and it's still going fine. Highly points for solid quality and decent sound here. I bought the purple one which also makes the kids happy. When each uke finally disintegrates, I just buy more of them.

Bought for my 8 year old grandson. My hubby plays uke and he asked for one for his birthday. He enjoys music and dancing. My hubby worked on tuning it for him. I actually learned to play on it and I'm 70

We own a couple guitars but this is the first ukulele we have owned so, I can’t compare this to any other ukulele. We ordered this for our 3 year old son for Christmas. He LOVES guitars and coco and we thought this would be a fun thing for him for Christmas this year.The ukulele is tunable. It’s pretty easy to tune and the strings do need some work to really tune and hold their tune. The ukulele comes with extra strings, a pick and a nice little storage back for the ukulele as well. This ukulele is perfect for kids. We ordered the black and it looks sharp. The black has a matte finish to it with white accents. The frame feels durable and string hinges feel durable too but in the last photo you can see the paint either has a different finish around the the string hinges or maybe the paint was finished with the matte finishing like the rest of the ukulele.Overall this ukulele is PERFECT for our son and will be a fun instrument for him to learn on. I understand ukuleles are easier to learn than guitars. So we thought this would be a great intro and start for our son. We are very pleased with this ukulele and can’t wait for our son to start playing and learning on this ukulele.

Honestly my toddler absolutely loves this guitar and is the perfect size for him. Do not twist the tuner strings as they will break off. Three out of four broke right away but strings are still in place so I don’t really care. He’s also just a toddler so I don’t care about “tuning†the guitar anyway. Also it was so very cheap it is 100% still worth it to me as he loves it so much and is perfect size.
