Was hand tightening the bolts when the retainer brake snapped. Metal looks as if it was pitted, maybe drop forged? Not sure but for a metal part to break from hand tightening with an Alan wrench is disappointing

Something broke inside the last knockoff chinese master cylinder on my 96 magnum so as a result I had zero brakes and had to miss out on a big planned trip with some friends. And while I missed the trip, I gotta say the brake feel is the best its been since I've owned the quad since I installed this master once it was properly bled out.Will it last? Probably not, it was $35 and it seems identical to the unbranded aftermarket unit I removed so I suspect it will fail eventually. But until then, 5 stars

the ad VERY clearly states: "Fitment:The brake master cylinder fit for â–¶ Trail Boss 1987-2001"there are only 2 things that need to fit:one is the clamp on the handlebar- yes it doestwo is the thread to attach the brake line ... NO IT DOES NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT
