This was a knitted scarf. It was very soft & comfortable. I had gotten it because it was pure wool and would be fire resistant. I had plans to cut it up and use it for carrying hot soapstone. It was too nice to cut & the knitting would unravel. It is getting good use as a scarf.

These are always the best. Mine is warm and unlike a lot of people I've never been bothered by the wool. I had to buy a new Mil-Spec scarf because I used my original with a jacket for extreme cold weather. The scarf got caught in the zipper and got all mangled.For a replacement for my Class As this works great.

Wanted the versatile and warm scarf like I was issued in the Infantry, and it's exactly what I got. With other Army issue gear, except better gloves, I'm ready for what ever the Wisconsin winter throws at me.
