I recently purchased two pair of McGuire wool blend inserts. The order shipped on time. The quality of the gloves is outstanding. The wool/polyester blend is very warm and flexible. The cuffs are nice and snug on my wrist. One could wear these inserts on their own for light duty, but I am using the wool glove inserts in a leather glove shell just as I did in the Army years ago. I've already broken them in and am very pleased with the performance.

I would have give a 4.5 if I could have. The only complaint I have is that I was sent two right hand gloves. It hasn't been a huge deal, I just wear the left one with the writing on the palm; it has started to conform to my left hand. However, since I paid good money for a set of gloves, that is what I would have preferred to get. Having been on Active Duty (US Army) and then Army Nat Guard afterwards I am well acquainted with the wool inserts (although we only had the green ones then) so I know the writing is always on the back of the hand not the palm.Having said that, the gloves have performed exactly as I was expecting. I use them as inserts in an old pair of gloves that are getting tired and have little insulation left. With the inserts in, they are every bit as warm as the other two pair of better winter gloves I have (we live in Syracuse, so I need a few pair of reliable gloves).I would definitely recommend!

Accurate fit. No uncomforable seams, and good flexibility. Same quality as the ones I was originally issued 40 odd years ago. Good inserts for unlined leather work gloves.

Good option for glove inserts. This style of insert adds extra warmth to fingered gloves in very cold conditions. Wool blend fabric lasts good. When washing do not dry in a tumble dryer, unless you have children. These style of glove will shrink .
