I was skeptical initially about the fit of the plug like, will it be loose or tight? Are the threads precisely machined? After installing it this weekend on my Honda Accord, I found it to be precisely machined and the bolt threaded just right, not loose or tight.Very well and precisely machined and of excellent quality. Will know how much the magnet picked up at the next oil change.Note : I would suggest this to people who change their own oil as it is a challenge to screw in the bolt as the strong magnet is constantly pulling itself to the sides of the drain bolt hole. You have to hold it strong and slowly thread it in by hand all the way before torquing it to specs. Else, you might end up cross threading your drain threads. If you do have to take it to an Oil change place, where they are trigger happy with their power tools and do everything in a jiffy, explain to them that you have a Magnetic drain bolt and to carefully thread it in by hand all the way before tightening it, else you will be in for some pain and since you gave them an after market bolt, they will blame it on you.Excellent product.

The presentation is great! It comes in a nice box and although it wasn't glowing when I opened the box, I thought I heard an angelic chorus in the background. It's basically a stainless steel bold with a magnet. I think the finish is great with no imperfections. The magnet seems well integrated. If you have never installed one of these magnetic drain plugs before, they are a little tricky. It's natural environment is in the hole, but it has it's own energy or life force and it does not want to go in the whole. It requires a special technique where you use your fingers to surround the hole and guide it in. The magnet is so strong it is attracted to the metal all around the hole. So you have to be extra careful getting the threads started because the plug does not want to stay centered. But once you get it started, it's really fine.If you like to drain your oil, then temporarily put the plug back in while you change the filter (so you don't get dripped on), then pull the plug one last time, then you may want to keep your old non magnetic drain plug just for this purpose.I purchased aluminum crush washers separately to use with this bolt and I've experienced no oil leaks. I installed this on my Mazda 6 at 30k miles and did my next oil change at 33.3k miles and there was a fine black buildup on the perimeter of the magnet. Thank goodness no large silvery metal shards, but it shows the drain plug picked up something the filter missed. I wish I would have installed a magnetic drain plug sooner.

The magnet is strong. It fit as intended. No problems so far, as of about a week. A 17mm wrench or socket is required to install. The 11/16th seemed to fit well enough too, but I used to 17mm.

Fits the pan on my Subaru, just measure your threads to find outNice machining, good steel construction, I dig it17mm driveit's tricky to install so make sure you have an oil pan and the engine is cold when you do this!

Around 60,000 miles, started seeing some oil dripping. Progressively got worse. The Mopar OEM oil plug has a silicone gasket built it. That was the culprit. I replaced it with this and some of their copper crush washers. No more drip! Great job! TIP: Get some extra copper crush washers and give your mechanic a new one with filter every 4 or 5 oil changes. I just tape it to the filter and they get the point. They'll love ya forever and so will your driveway!

These crush washers are the best value I could find.

Plug itself is pretty heft and came in a box almost more suited for Jewelry, but still, impressive. Only complaint is that it didn't come with the Copper crush washer as advertised; luckily I had the foresight to purchase extra crush washers for future oil changes...

Not the same item as the pictures. The threads are not smooth either.

Either the seller decided to try and con me by claiming this was the bolt described and then sending me a $5 Alibaba bolt or the manufacturer has SERIOUSLY cut quality. The bolt I received arrived in a cheap plastic bag (no jewelry box). It did not have the name etched on the top, the quality is terrible and threads sharp and deformed, and the milling marks are clearly visible. What's going on here?? Looked nothing like the other reviews pic. RETURN!
