This tap allowed me to repair a pressure washer, thereby saving me a small fortune. It's carbon steel, not HSS. However, given its size, I doubt that even Arnie himself would be able to break it. Clean, well-formed cutting edges on all the flutes. A lot cheaper than an HSS tap and just as serviceable. It's now in the 'assorted taps' box awaiting the next domestic disaster!

This relatively inexpensive tool repaired damaged threads in my son's mountain bike which had been caused by a loose pivot bolt. It did the job flawlessly. Saved me from having to warranty the bike or pay a large amount to the local bike shop to get it fixed. Recommended.
