Used these to replace fender liner clips and fender attachment clips on my vehicles where the original equipment clips were rusting out. Time will tell whether they will live up to the stainless steel on salted, icy roads or not, but hey, they work great. 4mm do not close all the way in the front that is supposed to provide the clipping or gripping action, but you can use a pair of vise grips and close them from the rear if need be.
