These washers are a bit on the pricey side but are totally worth it if you hate dealing with rusted fasteners as much as I do.I would pay the higher price for stainless fasteners every time for anything kept outdoors so that I don't have to deal with rusted shut fasteners.Having wasted so much time dealing with rusted fasteners in the past, I will only use stainless fasteners now on anything kept outdoors.These are stainless so the black coating was totally unnecessary but looks nice.

Really not too much one can say about a lock washer other than eventually, and without much fanfare, they will all be used to keep my nuts secure.

These are strongly magnetic — so not 304 stainless. But they’re cheap and probably not worth returning. But if you need stainless look elsewhere.
