I used these to extend the length on the bleeders for my 1984 Chevy S10, which used recessed bleeders. This essentially meant you had to use a thin-wall socket to reach the hex and just spray brake fluid everywhere. Stupid design Chevy. These long bleeders let me use my one-man bleeder as I've always been able to do.
