My 2005 Jacuzzi finally sprung leak when the plastic fitting connecting the freeze protection loop to the heater. Most pool & spa stores either didn't have the part, or were charging $20-25 plus S&H. The fitting looks great, was a fraction of the cost, and was easy to install (other than having to contort myself to work behind the control panel). Be sure to wrap the threads with teflon tape to ensure no leaks!

I used these fittings with a stainless steel 3-way stainless diverter valve that I also purchased from Amazon to set up a quick way to switch between fresh water tanks on a boat. The fit and machining look / feel good on the valve and the machining on these thread to hose barb fitting also looks to be very well done. However, the fit between the female threads on the valve and the male threads on the fitting seem to be slightly off. Since the valve will be cut into the water line between the water tanks and the water pump the valve assembly is not under any pressure. I used both Teflon thread tape and a high quality paste thread sealer approved for use in potable water applications to assemble the fittings to the valve. I think the valve assembly will work just fine with no leaks for my application and I would not hesitate to use it in a system that was under moderate pressure. Both these hose barb fitting and the valve are a good value although it appears both are made in China.

I used this for K&N p/n 62-1560, a clamp-on crankcase vent filter. It was exactly what I needed. I wish I felt confident polishing up the little visable spot to look like chrome but am afraid it will look like copper underneath. So if they had polished this up a bit I would have been happier.Also, the threads widen a bit going up. Probably normal design, but personally I'd have liked the thread diameter to stay the same so I could screw it in further.

Las piezas vienen bien maquinadas solo la parte de la rosca siento que les faltó un paso más porque quedan muy ajustadas y muy forzadas. Para que lo tengan en cuenta a la hora de comprar.
