These are easily my favorite gym shorts now - with the caveat that I've never really splurged on gym shorts. The price is currently 27.99 after 20% off coupon, which seems reasonable. I paid $20 recently for a pair without the liner.I already own 2 bathing suits from maamgic in size L. They do say to size up so I went with XL on these, and, sure enough, the bathing suit size chart for size L lines up exactly with size XL on these shorts. I like the consistency at least. I'm athletic/muscular and the fit is good/as expected (given you do size up).The shorts themselves are very thin and lightweight. I consider this a positive as long as they hold up. They feel flexible/breathable, and the liner is not uncomfortably thick or compressing. The side pockets have zippers with pulls which is a big plus.A few nits - these came in a little decorated bag that felt totally unnecessary and went straight in the trash. The reflective strip on the back (on only one side) and the UV-changing logo (which did work when I was outside) are not very useful. There's also this little perforated strip of fabric on the waist above the drawstring - it sits on top of my underwear, but I could see this being irritating if it ends up rubbing against your skin.

Size up even more than instructed - 2 sizes up probably. My husband usually wears a medium, so I ordered a large and the inner shorts were still very tight around the thighs. They do stretch a little, but too much and the seams will start ripping.Material is about standard for running shorts and work out gear. The shorts are still comfortable even though they're a bit small.

The shorts fit well and are typical of better-quality gym shorts. The graphics are minimal and stylish.The inner liner and shorts material are extremely comfortable on skin with no restriction on movement.The zippered pockets are deep enough to hold a cell phone or wallet. The zipper feature adds security in knowing that objects will not fall out of the short pockets on strong runs, challenging bike rides or other vigorous activities.The reflective label on one of the back legs of the shorts is a great idea. But the size of the label is too small to provide any real enhanced safety to the wearer. This is not a problem for me personally as my runs are in areas protected from traffic but may be considered a shortcoming if a runner is depending on this reflective label.The shorts are machine washable so keeping the shorts clean should be routine.Overall, these are comfortable and decent quality shorts well worth the price.

I have really enjoyed these shorts! They are light weight and really comfortable to wear. The liner is tight but a good tight, the pocket on the liner holds my phone nicely. I like the length of these shorts, they are a true 5-inch inseam, which for me is the ideal length for exercise and comfort. The only thing I'm not sure about is the loop/pocket in the back. Regardless of the function, maybe it's to put a ball there for tennis since these are tennis shorts after all, I don't use it, nor do I care.

I usually wear medium clothing but these shorts were extremely tight which made them see through. The material is elastic plastic on both the inner tights and shell.

The fabric is soft, both the inner wear and outer shorts. They remind me of swim trunks. What I don’t like about them is that there really isn’t a waist band. The pictures make it look like there is, but the waist area is as soft and flexible and the rest. So, in my opinion, these are best for slimmer folks. My chunky body prefers more waist support. They are made well and look like they’ll last.

I like to go to the gym and workout and hit the track afterwards. Comfort is a primary goal while working out. Maamgic shorts are breathable and provide a cool experience. Fabric is flexible and fits smaller than I expected for size large. I recommend if you like your shorts to be a little loose on the buttocks and thighs to order a size bigger than your usually short size, unless you enjoy tight and snug running shorts.

Comfortable shorts that do not irritate my skin at all, and they fit really well. Easy to wash and I have no complaints about them. The fabric is soft and breathable, the color is a really nice shade of green.
