Cute…worked out well. She laid down and used it as a pillow.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I recently took in an almost 2-yr old cat and had him neutered. He still has kitten energy but with the strength of grown Tom cat. He quickly ripped the plastic cone off that we received from the vet, and all I had left was this cone I purchased as a backup. He did tear it off a couple of times once he realized he could loosen it by rubbing against things. I tightened it, ensured there was enough of a gap that it wasn’t too uncomfortable, and knotted the strings. He hasn’t been able to get out of the cone since then. This is really the only instruction I’ve been able to follow from the vet, since jumping, running, and overall terror are part of his normal day to day routine. We’re almost to the finish line for his recovery with no infection, and I credit most of this to the cone. It is becoming frayed and has needed to be washed twice, so it may be beneficial to purchase another one that you can switch out if your cat will need to wear it for a while. With it being fabric, it soaks up water, wet food, and anything else pretty easily, but can go through the washer and dryer without a problem.

I love the fact that it has a draw string on it. My kitten just got spayed and is on the smaller side. The plastic one they gave me kept falling off. The functional draw string is very useful on this! Material is nice and soft. Was a little worried at first about her getting it off but seems to be holding up well! I think I got my money's worth.

The non-descript blue “cone of shame†was very itchy and uncomfortable. He kept trying to take it off. I ordered this collar immediately. It came quickly and it was a hit. He loved it for his two weeks of recuperation (see picture). Soft and comfy, very pillow-like. No issues with eating, washing, etc. Plus it glows in the dark (fun!!!). Highly recommend.

Very cute, very soft, has a string to adjust the size and glow in the dark. Our kitty could easily eat with it and climb on things. The only con is how heavy it feels, since it's filled with plush, it's much heavier than an air one. I wouldn't recommend it for a smaller/lighter cat.

This cat cone is good for small cats and has an adjustable neckline to help keep it secured, but my cats can still escape from it after a while of trying to get it off. The soft collar is nice since it doesn't freak my cats out as much but it doesn't help too much if you are trying to get them to stop licking a wound or incision on the lower half of the body since it doesn't block that much of their neck range. It's a decent collar to have on hand in case you need to protect your cat from grooming themselves.

This is a great little collar! My cat has developed a nervous grooming habit where she keeps licking the same spot over and over again until her hair is all gone from that spot, and her skin bleeds. While we are helping her overcome her stressors and reduce her anxiety, we decided to use this little collar to prevent her from continuing to hurt her skin or lose hair any more. Some pros of this collar:It's lightweight, fits easily around her neck, and easily adjustable to secure it in place. It's only big enough to stop her from reaching the part we want her to stop grooming, and she's able to move, sleep, eat, drink, jump and play with it on like normal. The only con about this collar that I've seen is that because it's plush, it absorbs any liquid it comes in contact with. The first day that my cat had this on, she still wasn't used to it, and she got it in her wet-food. This little pillow soaked up whatever liquid was in her wet-food like a sponge and I had to immediately remove it and throw it into the washing machine. Thankfully it's very easy to wash with a regular cycle, and tumble dry. After I got it out of the dryer, I put it back on my cat, and I think she's gotten the hang of it now, because she hasn't gotten it dirty or wet since then. She's been wearing it pretty consistently for 3 days now, and it seems like she's not in any discomfort wearing it, and her skin is already looking much much better. Really is a great collar for temporary use to help our little kitty heal.

I liked the idea of this one but it didn't work for two reasons. One, my cat got out of it immediately and 2, it was way too bulky. It doesn't glow in the dark either, although I really don't care much about that part. Just if someone did I thought they should know.
