Thrash is an accurate moniker. Gobs of sound and features, if not fidelity, for circumstances which don't require it at a bargain price. They've been in the field a year with no issues.

Mackie used to a brand you could rely on and now they are making products that aren’t worth your time. The volume potentiometers are very noisy and don’t adjust much until you get to 80% and it’s extremely touchy from 80% to 100%. I bought a pair and one of them arrived defective. Wouldn’t even produce sound. The sound that came out of the one that worked didn’t sound very good. Spend a little more money to get the Yamaha DBR series. They sound better, work better, and I’ve put them through a lot and they don’t quit on me.

It's an amazing speaker, use it only for outdoor live performance with instruments, with 50 to 60 people.You can enjoy the music only with a mixer..

I have been using this speaker from the past 4 months now for indoor / outdoor parties as a DJ.The bass is really powerful and does the job. Sound is clear but the high vocals need to be adjusted otherwise the bass is taking over.
