3 Ply Ropes
3 ply basically has 3 individual single twist groups of cotton that all twist together to form a more traditional looking rope.
Thanks to the new, twisted structure, the string is strong, it works easily with it and you can get two types of tassels by unraveling it with your fingers or combing it with a comb.

Cotton is the softest natural fiber used for rope, making it an extremely popular choice! The 3ply rope is soft and at the same time thick, thanks to which it perfectly highlights the beauty of macramé nodes, which do not have to be tightened. This is a very soft rope with excellent feel.

This cord is softer to work with than the braided cord but strong enough to hold structure when required. It’s a good macrame cord that’s suitable for all sorts of projects.

I personally loved this cord! I wanted to make a macrame wall hanging for my friend to decorate her baby's nursery and it turned out pretty decent for my first project. I am new to this hobby so veterans might think there is something better out there. However. it works great for my skill level and the things I'm able to make.It is sturdy and ties really clean, tight knots. I did find some random blemishes on the cord or weird spots that were frayed. That might be a normal thing but I've never bought any other cord before so I don't know. They weren't bad enough though for me to give this less than 5 stars.

My favorite rope cord so far! I’ve used 4 other brands and this one has exceeded my expectations. I purchased 3 spools and used 2 so far. My first spool had no breaks or tie ups. My 2nd spool had 1 break. It was expected. If you’re familiar with macrame or similar projects like crotchet you should always check lengths, breaks and knots prior to working anyway, so I definitely recommend you check before you work. I would recommend this brand 100%. Color, size, durability and softness were all perfect!

This is great cotton cord for the price. I have ordered multiple colors and sizes and have not been disappointed. Some buyers are confused about the labeling, understandable. When I order 2mm (my favorite gauge of cord) there is a label inserted into the wrapping showing "3mm." If you look at the bottom of the roll you will see a sticker showing it is actually 2mm and sized accurately for 2mm cord. I have not received rolls of cord from this manufacturer that were damaged or that caused me to have wasted materials and will continue to purchase ZOUTOG macrame cord if the color I seek is available in the size I need for my projects.

This is great cord. Fast shipping and great quality and length. It was my first time working with 2mm cord. Usually I work with 4mm. If using this for macrame hanging, please take into consideration that it will not provide thick knots and will take twice as much cord. I’ve also o learned that the thinner the cord the more it tangles at the bottom of your hanging, making it irritating to constantly untangle the bottom of you work.

After purchasing this twice, I am still coming back for more. This is a great price for good quality and soft cording. I’m going to take the Goldilocks approach. It isn’t too stiff or too soft to work with, but just right. My only minor issues are that it’s beyond frustrating to be in the middle of a project and run into a section that has been cut and tied together. I have enough scrap pieces and that just adds to the pile. Additionally, the roll is plastic and isn’t very secure in packaging. My first ordered roll came with the plastic broken which made it difficult to unroll the cording. I don’t have a setup for easy unrolling so the cheap plastic breaking was frustrating. I still came back though! I haven’t found a better price for the quality so I’ll be back many times I’m sure.

I love this product. I am very happy with my cotton rope. If I can say something I didn’t find that was good About the rope is that it was stained little tiny spots of orange. Since I’m a beginner in making macramés and macraweave, I’m not sure if that’s normal I don’t think it is, but I can see it when very very close. That’s the only thing I didn’t like of it. But besides that everything perfect. It’s easy to use and very soft to my hands, I haven’t had any blisters etc. I do recommend this product and probably will purchase some more after I give another a try since it was a bit stained. But I will probably purchase again.

Great macrame cord! A boho bag crochet tutorial required a different brand of black macrame cord. This brand had good reviews & I’m glad I chose it! I had no problems with this cord, no splitting & no shedding. It has a very nice shine & the boho bag turned out perfect. I used the bag for a funeral because it looked so great with the dress!

I was so so excited to receive this product!!! I find knotting the macrame really relaxing and stress relieving. It was really nice easy to use while sitting on the floor with my toddler, though he was very attracted to it lol. It is exactly what I want in macrame only cheaper than I would pay in the stores!!! It was also easy to measure and cut since it was on a spool as compared to rolled into a ball it made the unwinding super convenient. I can't wait to make more things with it!!

We ordered 3 different sizes of rope from this seller for macrame, and after approx. 3 months of waiting for them to arrive, what we were eventually sent was a massive ball of tangled, frayed, and unusable cord. It will not stay unravelled from it's spirals, and the cord itself is so unevenly twisted it will be impossible to use for any crafting purposes. Very disappointed and frustrated with "not qualifying for return". You will waste your money with this one.
