This tool did the job flawlessly. I had bought a cheap tool ignoring the warnings on forums about not using cheap tool for primary removal. I found out real quick how true this is! Cheap tool bent and started stripping out. It was useless. Bought this tool and right away noticed the difference in thickness and thread location along shaft. Clutch popped off almost effortlessly. Outstanding!

This does not press against the crank itself but rather it goes all the way inside and presses against your threads and will mess up your crank no way to contact this seller he owes me a freaking motor for selling me the wrong product

I went ahead and greased the threads and the tip like many tutorial videos recommend, tightened by hand until snug, hit it with an impact until it’s tight. Then hit the hex Head with a 2lb sledge, and the primary popped right off. I guess I’ll get to test longevity soon, because the aftermarket clutch cover I installed has terrible fit, so I’m pulling everything back apart to install an oem cover. Hopefully round 2 goes as easy as round 1.
