Bought these for my slim and petite 5-year-old. They fit great! I really like that they are a little bit longer, and not the typical short girl shorts that you find in the stores. They are very soft and comfortable, and my daughter refused to wear any other shorts the entire summer. The color options are also great, and match with all of her dresses and shirts. Despite heavy wear for the entire summer, they're still in decent condition and should serve as hand me downs for her little sister!

I bought these for my 11-year-old daughter to wear under her very thin white softball pants. She is tall and thin and is very sensitive to seams, fabric, etc. These worked perfectly!

Shorts are longer than most bike shorts. They look very nice under a longer tunic. My granddaughter needed a pair of white shorts for a school outfit, but most of the time we go for the bright colors. City Threads colors are vibrant and stay that way through many washings.

These are great to wear under a skirt for modesty on the playground. My daughter is just over 5 ft. and weighs 80 lbs. Size 14 was the perfect fit.

These are definitely well made. The fabric is on the thin side (not see through but not what we are used to from other companies.) Because it's a little thin or maybe its the fabric combination, after wearing it a full day at school, the material is stretched out and baggie. For reference we usually buy Primary or I use custom cotton spandex fabric to make her shorts. The color is still vibrant after many washes however. I bought these because both of my kids do not like tags and they loved the long swim shorts by this company. For the cost, I do not regret the purchase but if it cost more, I would re-think it.
