About RimSling
RimSling is a rigging/recovery product that was a result of trying to figure out how to attach to an aluminum rim that has small holes without resorting to over-stressing a smaller rated round sling. After having tried different materials over the years, none worked as well or were as slim as the synthetic RimSling while still maintaining a higher working load limit. With safety as our #1 concern for our customers, all RimSling products are certified by DNV and ABS.
RimSling Features
Braided Guard
The RimSling has a special braided guard at the center of the sling that provides an extended life when used as a basket.
Synthetic Rope
The use of synthetic plasma rope allows the sling to be lightweight, flexible and extremely strong. This rope will float and is abrasion resistant.
Full Cordura Protective Sleeve
The RimSling has a protective Cordura Sleeve over the entire length giving it maximum protection. This provides wear protection to the sling itself.
Eye Loop
A 6" sling eye is located on either end of the RimSling. Attach your winch line directly to the sling eyes of the rope or use a screw pin shackle

Proven Track Record
Synthetic Rope was first developed 60 years ago for the shipping industry. Tow operators first adapted it to winch lines 30 years ago, and since 2015, RimSling has been producing synthetic tools to make vehicle recoveries easier.
