Absolutely love this sizing spray for quilting. It doesn’t flake or cause buildup on my iron; I don’t even have to let it dry - just spray, wait a moment for it to absorb, and press. I can spray it onto already starched fabrics and it doesn’t flake or get weird. The spray nozzle doesn’t clog like starch. Keeps bias cuts from distorting and fabrics from fraying. I generally like my fabric to be stiff enough to stand up for itself while piecing and I can use a few sprays of this sizing to achieve that. No offensive smell and no itching that I get with Best Press, plus it’s so much less expensive.

This is a must have if you are a quilter. Even though they don't say it is a spray starch it acts like one. It's the best product I've used for my quilting projects in a very long time. It stiffens the fabric just enough to make the fabric have more body and also flattens seams nicely. It absolutely does not flake and has no smell, which I can't stand with another brand. I liked it so much, I ended up buying a gallon of it to refill my spray bottle, which by the way, has a great spray head on it.

I love to starch my fabric when quilting. I use Sta Flo because it is very affordable and I can create a mixture to suit my needs. I don't always want the fabric to be stiff. Sometimes just crisp and flexible works better. I tried Best Press. It was a complete waste of money. !it is nothing more than a de-wrinkler. Water does the same thing for free.Based on my purchases, Amazon recommended this spray. I decided to give it a try. Oh my goodness, it was perfect! This is exactly what I have been trying to create with Sta Flo. It easily takes the wrinkles out, makes my seams lay perfectly flat and gives the fabric the perfect crispness needed so it doesn't stretch while cutting and sewing. Buy this instead of Best Press!! You will be glad you did! I just ordered a gallon of it.

I use this product for quilting squares, and it works great. A small spray and a warm iron gets any wrinkles out without difficulty. A little pricey for the amount but well worth it. It appears to be odorless and have not detected any residual on the fabric.

I was at a quilting class and on of the quilters let me try magic on my quilting blocks. I was sold on magic.I had to buy it. It’s one the the best products to starch your cotton fabric.

Magic Spray starch is wonderful. Tried it out this morning on some cloth napkins I'm making, the fabric after spraying and pressing seams pior to sewing was beautifully crisp yet still flexible. I love it. Sped up all my seam pressing by 50% atleast, not residue, or overwhelming smell. I think it would be terrific for quilting.Recommended.

A great addition to my must have quilting tools. Very effective in producing flat seams. I will be purchasing this product again.
