I got this magic water elf craft for my small kids. This kit comes with plenty of gels in a variety of colors. I especially love that this set comes with a bunch of molds (since my kids are not old enough to freehand these shapes). This set also comes with enough calcium lactate powder to have 6 sessions (or more if you make smaller solution batches). The gel starts to shrink and contract immediately when put into the solution and comes releases from the mold pretty easily with some gently shaking. It took about 30 minutes of being soaked in the solution before our creations hardened enough to play with.As a side note, this kit gives you gloves, but even a high concentration of calcium lactate solution has a pH around 8 (slightly basic solution). So, I felt comfortable even free handing the solution.Overall, this is a great little craft for my kids. They made all 24 shapes the first time around and there is still plenty of gel for more sessions.

Overall this is a great kit that offers a lot of variety.Kids loved playing with it and there are plenty of shapes and colored gel to use.My biggest issue is the strong smell coming from the included dinosaur eggs. The smell is very strong and will overpower everything, making me wonder if they are safe to use.I only removed 1 star, because the dinosaur eggs are just a small part of everything else that is included.

Not bad for what it is. Positives: It did come with alot of shapes and colors. My daughter loved making them and playing with them. Also loved hatching the dino eggs. Negatives: The problems I have had are most bottle seals were open or not sealed correctly which lead to some leaking. Some of the colors were thick like they had been in touch with the solution and came out in globs. After making them they actually had to sit in solution for over an hr, if not if you slightly pressed on them they would explode. The instructions vs the cup you get are complete different measurements. The shapes after being in solution look weird. Some fell apart right after taking them out of the solution. If you do not fill the cavity and mix the colors well they will fall apart after putting them in the solution. The colors you have to open to see which ones are glitter as they are not on any label. The cool little light that comes with it did not work. The little dino in the eggs are extremely small and will get lost almost immediately.

The water play toy makeover kit was a fantastic addition to our playtime routine. It provided hours of entertainment and allowed the kids to express their creativity in a fun and engaging way. The colors were very bright, and it was especially enjoyable for our 3-year-old.

This is a fun activity kit to keep kids busy. The whole kit seems well put together and the instructions are also very clear and easy to use. It comes with box storage box, gel colors, shapes, a small jar, and gloves. There are all the items to keep kids safe. We tried making different shapes they don’t turn out perfect that’s my only disappointment. I wish they would turn out better. The shapes look just fine and you leave them for a few minutes and they get hard later.My niece really had fun playing with this and I think it is a nice unique activity to try with kids.
