I have 5 children and we homeschool. My oldest is almost 9 and my youngest is 1... I am busy. This is a perfect thing to have them work on while I am nursing, etc. And since having this product for a couple of months, I have noticed an improvement in their handwriting.The ages of my kids who use this are the almost 9 year old, my 6 year old and my 4 year old. I also appreciate that there are several different books to choose what to practice writing, as well as 2 different pens and extra ink cartridges. A great value!

Cool idea, the disappearing ink. But the first (of 2) pen broke in the first day of use. Once the pens are done, the product is of no use. It’s all taped up now, trying to buy us some extra time. And now the fish finger holder, is also ripping.So all in all, the product is not made that well. Might not even last us a week.They also gave a number of pen refills, though the pens will never live that long. So there is a possibility of putting them into other pens, but that’s not really how I expected that to go.

I homeschool my kids and this helped me teach them how to write. I definitely recommend it! Best thing is that you can get many uses out of it.

I bought these because my 4th grader had some letter/number reversals and my 2nd grader had poor handwriting. They can use these over and over again. They love them! I would say we probably only need the number and the letter books. When they are using these they are focusing more on the writing, so the actual number sentences in the multiplication/division and addition/subtraction books they don't really focus on when using this. After practicing in these books I give them a pencil and paper and have them write a sentence. I can definitely see improvement. My 4th grader has significantly less reversals. Both enjoy practicing a few minutes a a time.

These books are great if your kid likes to scribble on the page because of the disappearing ink also comes with extra ink cartridges the ink disappears fast so you could use with multiple kids
