I used this cylinder for an hydraulic top link on my tractor. Works great. No problems so far but have only used for a month but I don’t see any problems in the near future. It seams to be really well made and heavy duty. Although, they state a 1 inch pin hole but measured.99 with calipers so took a little grinding to get my 1.0 inch pin to fit. It wouldn’t keep me from buying again but it’s my only complaint.

This is a very well made cylinder with grease certs, powder coat finish and good fit and finish. It is Boss O-Ring so when you have your lines made be sure to have them go from Boss O-Ring on the cylinder to the correct NPT thread to connect your other fittings. I purchased it for a hydraulic top link on my tractor and it works great. I have had it on for several days and there has been NO bleed off!

Great quality hydraulic piston! Make sure to double check your existing pin outside diameter and look up the blue prints of the bore size on this piston shown in images. I measure with calipers the original hydraulic bore. However when I received the new piston and try to install original piston was to big for new piston bore. Tolerance is were stacked. New piston was with in Tolerance parameters. Pins where literally 1/16 (.0625) to big in spots. Had to turn down pin to get it fit inside new piston. IBent the original hydraulic piston on a Amulet thumb that is on a Kobelco mini excavator. After contacting Amulet thumb company which has great customer service they quote close to $450 and local shop wanted $500 to over haul original. I decided to purchase this hydraulic piston because price and manufacture in England.

Is being used for the top link on my 3-point hitch. Has worked great, keeps me from getting off the tractor to make the adjustment. The pin holes were 1" and the tractor was 3/4" so I had to purchase shim or adaptor to take up the difference. I pre-filled the cylinder before installing. Would purchase again.

I bought this to replace the cylinder on my John Deere 2305's back hoe. JD wanted a staggering $1400 for the OEM. The only difference that I can tell from the JD version and this is that it isn't green. For a savings of $1200, I think I can live with that. Only issue I had for my application is that I had to have special swivel fittings put on new hoses because I couldn't find adapter fittings to mate up with this like I needed. I don't think that is a ding against the product though. They can't make it fit every single application perfectly. As the say, some assembly required.I used the back hoe the other day to dig up palmetto and Brazilian pepper roots. The cylinder performed the safe as the JD version.

It was a direct replacement for broken cylinder, it fit perfectly and was of higher quality.
