I used this on a 3" TBE setup for a 06' Subaru Legacy GT. I didn't notice any power loss and no longer smell any fumes compared to the previous cat-less setup.

The item's quality appeared to be decent but in a little under a year it started making a very loud rattling sound. I uninstalled the converter and verified that the catalyst material was loose inside the case and the cause of the noise.When I asked Magnaflow about the warranty issue they responded with:"Any warranty will go through your original place of purchase. You can contact them and file a warranty claim. I advise getting a 5 gas analysis test or pressure test to assure the cat failed because of a manufacture defect and not some other issue."I don't know why you would need to have a gas analysis done on something that's rattling, that doesn't make any sense. I contacted Amazon and, as always, they provided excellent customer service and will be sending me a new unit next-day air, free of charge. I'll give the next one a shot, hopefully it will last longer.

Great cat for high-flow applications. I was cat-less before, but had to pass emissions again and this passed me with flying colors. Not a noticeable power loss at all. Used on a 1st gen DSM. Eagle Talon awd turbo.

The pipe size was too big. Pipe was 3 inches and needed 2 and a fourth. OK other then that

I saw this on sale so I purchased it. My old converter broke from hitting high spots on the road due to a poor job from a previous installer. Installed on my 89 Camaro with a 5.0 TPI and passed drive clean well below the limits for my car. Very happy!
