I had something like this when I was a child and imagine my excitement when u found this! There are so many board games to play that are tiny and easily portable. The one thing that you have to be careful with is that the boards are great tiny size so the pieces are small and could be easily lost with children (or eaten). All the games come in tiny boxes that come with instructions on how to play. I think this is such a great deal for how many games you get!

I bought these for my niece and nephew they were traveling to Florida to visit grandparents. My sister said they played on the plane and with grandparents.

Let's be honest: the build quality of these games is predictably abysmal. The boards are flimsy, the pieces may be a bit wonky, and when you pay cheap, you get cheap. That said, however, you do get a dozen great games here, including timeless classics that will keep people of all ages entertained. The point to keep in mind is that you're never (I hope!) going to use this set as your primary board game collection at home (please don't!!), but for travelling, especially when space may be at a premium, this is a handy set to have. Stick a few in a bag and they'll take up almost no room at all. Even an airplane's fold down tray can easily accommodate these boards. The magnetic boards hold the pieces reasonably well. And for rather little money you're able to bring your favorite board games along wherever you're going to have some time to kill and want to enjoy that time doing something fun. I bring mine to work with me to have something to do during breaks. One can overlook this set's shortcomings for the sake of portability; after all, there's far more to a game than the materials you're playing it with.

Chinese Checker, Chess, Backgammon and Chinese Checkers are good game designs.But, Motorcycle, Space, Auto Racing, Snakes and Ladders, Ludo are not a good design - the tokens are all too big for the squares...makes it very difficult to know which space you've landed on.Checkers has plenty of room, but when you are 'crowned' - the magnetics do not connect..for the crown, bad design.

I’m a grandma who visited her grandchildren upstate for a week. The parents’ and my concern about these youngsters being on the phone all day, even when traveling to and from errands in their car, made me remember a magnetic game I had some time ago. I went online to find something similar, and I found the cutest set of small magnetic games, which I ordered from Amazon to be delivered there. Well, that kept grandma and them busy for the rest of the week LOL. Whether it was tic tac toe, checkers, chess, or any of the other games, it surely beat the phone obsession in that car! This is really a great purchase if you don’t mind the noise from the excitement of kids trying to win their opponent. If you do mind the noise, then you have given in to that phone craze. Me.... well, I’m buying another set for my other grandchildren back home, hoping it will have the same magic. I totally recommend this!!

Grandson enjoyed these on our last road trip. The pieces are really tiny and easy to loose in a car. We lost a few pieces.

These are tiny and cheaply made. The magnets were loose from several of the pieces upon arrival. In a couple of the games, the pieces don’t fit on the spaces. The chess game was short a piece. The game boards don’t open completely flat. They aren’t practical for playing.
