Upon receiving the drill I removed it from the case and set it on my welding table. Fortunately I did not have my fingers under the magnet. The drill locked down to the table with a fair amount of force as the magnet was set to the positive side. So be careful when you unpack this drill, the magnet locks the drill to any metal surface.I used the drill to punch some holes through two pieces of 5/8 angle iron that were clamped together back to back. It went right through. Lots of power and very secure to the work surface. Very impress so far.
