I needed to add 2 lights at the side doors on my enclosed trailer. I purchased 2 RV style lights for that task, but to install them I need to remove shelving along one side as well as removing the panels I have attached to the walls. It would be an all weekend project to install the two hardwired lights cleanly. I came across these lights and figured I would give it a try.Pros:Solar powered so wiring needed.3 ways to install: 1. You can either use the provided magnetic mounts and adhesive backed steel mounting plates. 2. You can use 3m double sided adhesive tape. 3. You can use the 2 mounting holes for the magnetic mounts and screw directly into your siding.Lights for both downlighting and also on the sides for a good spread of light.Several light modes including motion sensing.Cons:Plastic construction throughout. The lens seems to be either acrylic or polycarbonate. The back of the lamp is also plastic. All mounting points are plastic as well, so this may pose a longevity issue or it would be easy to overtighten and crack when mounting.Completely glued together construction, there would be no way to replace the battery once it no longer takes a charge and the light will need to be replaced.Overall:I am currently going with mounting option 1. I am using the provided magnetic mounting option and using the provided adhesive backed steel plates. As most trailers have aluminum siding, they will not just stick to the exterior of the trailer. As the trailer is mostly stationary at this point and used as a concession stand of sorts, I have no fear the stout magnets will drop the lights. If I end up towing the trailer, I will either take the lights down while in motion and reattach when stopped, or I will attach them with 3m double sided tape. I also like that they can be removed for pressure washing the exterior of the trailer without fear of blowing water inside the housing. All in all, for the 32.00 these were at the time of writing, these are a great deal for 2 lights. Another bonus with them being magnetic, you can also throw it on your fender of your car if you get a flat and have light on the side of the road. If the construction would have utilized an aluminum back plate and reinforced mounting holes and been able to access the battery for replacement *I am assuming it uses an 18650 cell* I would have given this 5 stars.

I really appreciate that these can be attached magnetically because we have a metal storage building that I would not want to drill any holes into and these make it possible to just magnetically attach them without damaging the structure. These have a really good brightness and I like that you can adjust the brightness.I am glad there were two of them so I have one for over top of each of the two doors !

These are to attach over the doors of my van when camping. Out of the box they work as described-there are 3 functions as described and each function works as expected. I will mostly use these as security lights that are not illuminated until motion is detected. Included were 2 lights, 4 coated, anti-scratch magnets and hardware to permanently screw these into a wall if needed. I am missing the nuts to affix the studded magnets to the light. It looks like maybe 4mm nut needed. I'll have to look for some. I like the magnets and their strength especially that they are coated so they don't scratch up my van. The lights work great and have plenty of light at both intensities and are a nice size-I didn't want huge industrial looking lights-but now I need to find nuts before I could use them.
