I bought the set because I needed the longer extension for a specific reason. However, I have used most of the others to simplify certain jobs. It is well worth the price and made very well. I wish I had that set for the last 50 years.

The magnet was good, but the problem is the unit doesn't lock down your bit as it should. Thus, if you're drilling a hole (which was what I was doing) the bit your using can get disconnected rather easily and then your stuck trying to get it back in the head and the bit out. Return was no problem as is usual with Amazon.

They work okay, but the quick release mechanism binds a bit, so it doesn't always release or latch on without some fiddling with about half the time. They feel a bit cheaply made, but for light work they've held up so far.

I needed the 17" extension that is included in this kit for a specific project I was doing, but decided to get the set of extensions, and I am glad I did. When I received the set it was clear that these were heavy duty extensions, with quality bit holders, and I love the ability to hold the barrel in one position while unscrewing the screw or bolt that is buried, or in an awkward position. Magnetic screw holder is strong and works well to retrieve a dropped screw or to hold on and extract the screw you are removing. Highly recommended!
