The magnet does stick pretty well to my refrigerator but I needed something to hold up my under cabinet lights. I thought the sticky side would add to the cabinet and hold the very lightweight magnetized lights up- I have to be able to remove them to recharge them. It doesn’t hold the lights up at all. It went back

Magnetic tape side sticks to metal surface fine. The 3M tape side stuck to the item for a couple of weeks and came off. Had to use glue the sticky side to keep magnetic tape to stick to item. Could be more effective if the 3M tape covered the whole width of the strip instead of just down the center portion.

I assume that this tape is intended to be attached to paper or cardboard for hanging on a refrigerator or a compatible whiteboard. The amount of magnetic "pull" is VERY light, so nothing heavier can be used. Because it comes in a coil, the tape will need to be straightened out or it will cause paper to bend as well. No such problem with cardboard.I can see this being used in education for any signs or symbols that could be moved around on a magnetic compatible chalkboard or whiteboard.

Great tape for crafts or projects. Simple to use and cut. The sticky side sticks well to whateveruou are tryingto magnitize. I used it to take some christmas ornaments that were special to me, and now i'm able to use them as a fridge magnet until christmas again. This strip was strong enough to hold them up. Functions as you would expect. Good value for the money. Will definitely keep in my tool chest.
