HOW TO USE

1. Prepare Your Surface: Before applying the magnetic tape, make sure the surface you're applying it to is clean and dry. Wipe it down with a clean cloth to remove any dust, dirt, or moisture.
2. Measure and Cut: Measure the length of magnetic tape you need for your project and use scissors or a utility knife to cut it to size. Make sure to cut it slightly longer than you need to allow for any adjustments.
3. Peel off the Backing: Once you have the desired length, peel off the backing paper to expose the adhesive side of the magnetic tape. Be careful not to touch the adhesive with your fingers to keep it clean and free from oils.
4. Apply the Tape: Carefully position the adhesive side of the magnetic tape onto the surface you prepared earlier. Press down firmly along the entire length of the tape to ensure good adhesion. If you need to reposition it, do so gently to avoid damaging the adhesive.
5. Allow it to Set: Give the adhesive some time to set and bond to the surface. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for recommended drying or setting time. This typically ranges from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the type of adhesive used.
6. Test the Magnetism: Once the adhesive has fully set, test the magnetic tape by attaching lightweight magnetic objects to it. Ensure that the magnetic attraction is strong enough for your needs and that the tape is securely holding the objects in place.
7. Maintenance: To maintain the adhesive's effectiveness, avoid exposing the tape to excessive moisture or extreme temperatures. Clean the surface periodically to remove any dirt or debris that could affect the adhesive's performance.

The magnets work great & the width is perfect. It works much better than the 1/2 inch competitors I bought for the greater length, but they don't stick & when it falls off it's worthless. Please send more 1" wide or offer a deal on multiple rolls?

I'm surprised how strong these magnets are. We used them to make car signs. On the leading edge that takes the direct hit of the wind blowing by the car, we put the magnet strip all the way across. On the side and back corners, we used 2 inches pieces. In case you are wondering, we made our own car signs with cardboard, spray glue and what we had printed at the local copy center. Way less money than buying new. Anyhow, these are not wimpy magents.

I was hoping to use this for mounting a very small router onto the wall 3 x 3 inches, and I cut a piece to fit the back of the router which has 4 spots with metal. This piece of magnetic tape would attach, but barely - I did not feel a snap or anything - trying to lift and it would instantly break. not even lets say 25% of its weight would stick onto this.So I tried with scissors and it would barely hold them ... hardly felt anything taking it off, and it certainly doesn't snap back on...This will go right in the garbage can....

The sticky part doesn't stick. A better adhesive needs to be used. I'll need to buy a different brand now.

I was hoping that the side with the glue would have a flexible covering that would not have to be removed. I don't want to stick the tape to the door permanently. This is not a knock on the product. It WILL work with the paper covering, just not like I wanted. I will mount it magnetically each time that I need it. Magnet is fine. Seems durable.

Magnetic properties are good but adhesive properties could be better.

Adhesive doesn't work. Will not stay stuck for more than a few minutes then not at all.
