As a child I was lucky enough to visit Europe several times. Swim fashion for men was speedo/European cuts the whole way and really hard for me to embrace. I was either in cut off jeans (yes, I'm older) or jogger-like pants.Traveling to Europe this time, I had it in mind that this would be the same issue for me. Everyone dressed in their tightest bathing suits while I, the boorish American, would be wearing baggy trunks.Enter this swim suit.I figured it was the perfect blend to each world. It's tight enough to satisfy the Europeans and loose enough to make me comfortable. And, luckily, they fit well and looked good.The irony is that when I got to the Mediterranean beaches, almost no one was wearing a speedo. Everyone was draped in American cuts. My semi-tight suit (as seen above) was actually a little off the mark.You can't win I guess but the suit was comfortable and pleasing to my wife, so I cannot complain.

I am a 30/31" waist and I've ordered the 32" and 34" and had to return both as they were too small. Finally ordered the 36" waist, they fit perfectly, are very well made & very comfortable. I will definitely look to get one or two more in the other colors!!!

Unlike SO many other clothing items purchased directly from China, the size on these was what the “Size guide†represented that it was!These are great: not super short, nice stretchy material, pockets, liner, etc. Would purchase again!

I’m a 32 waist and these were a bit tight, even when I had the suit positioned on my hip bone. Otherwise, great suit - love the pockets, design, fabric and fit through legs.

I wasn't expecting much from these but I was very pleased. They were comfortable, fit well, and looked great. I am 5'6" 150lbs and my pant waist size is 30, but I went with a 32 and it was still form fitting without being skin tight.

Ordered these for a trip to Aruba. Tried them on and decided not to take them because they fit just tight enough and are just thin and stretchy enough that everything was pretty much on display. I'm 6' and 215lbs, ordered these in a 36" waist because that's what I normally wear. They do fit, I'm just not that daring.

Great "trunks", is the lingo we used to use in the '60's. Back in those days this style had no elastic, and where you tie the cord was all you had to keep the suit up. I can not count the number of suits I had to throw out, as I broke a cord.This suit is, and looks, GREAT! I am so fortunate, that at 70, I still have the fit I did in my 20's. Perhaps, because I am 6'4, from a thin family back ground. But I digressI am traveling now, and needed a Florida suit. I found this online, as the hotel shop is charging over $100. In comparison, this suit is a great value, and the style and execution is far superior. The material is thick, good quality and dries fast after washing. Hotel pools can be heavy handed with cleaning supplies.This suit was my second try, as I failed to read the important sizing information. The waist size you wear for jeans IS NOT the way to size this suit. I wear a 33" jean, but that translates into a 36" swim suit. My first order I went for a 34", not having read info. When I reordered, I found the 36" waist was the same as my 33" pants. Now, I have a great suit.I hope this helps, when you order a great swim suit.

The suit fits perfectly after use in lake in summer and salt water pool & spa. Other reviews had me concerned. I completely disagree with those reviews. They have not stretched, faded and seams are perfect. They look really good on too.

Go for one size larger than your regular size, and you'll be fine. Even then they are "well fitted" if that's the look you want. Seems like baggies are (FINALLY) out of style after several decades, and fitted shorts are in now. these are a good choice. They have pockets. The only real downside is the inner lining (built-in underwear) is too tight and doesn't leave room for normal-sized genitals (or maybe mine are just extra large?). If the manufacturer would stretch that part out a bit for those of us who need the extra room, then they'd be great.

The shorts fit well, they are very comfortable (5ft3, 150 pounds). I am very happy with my purchase. Also, the shipping was very fast. Would buy another pair.
