What can I say, it is a comically huge spoon that GTs, and other active tropical fish follow!It is great, if anything it is a conversation starter, I got a good laugh when I finally got it, then promptly put it on my Calstar 10' 11 eye, Avet 5:3 lever drag, 65 pound Spectra, and started flipping it.Right off the rip got chasers, but the spoon in its comical size was larger than the little fellows who chased it.All' N All it is a really cool, effective, and Comically huge spoon, a must have just for the laughs if you don't catch anything bigger than it lol.A must have!

This is an incredibly large lure, however it is certainly meant for offshore fishing. The overall construction and color pattern is very well designed and made. It is very sturdy, and with care and upkeep, this lure will give you years of good fishing. Make sure you have this on very heavy leader line, as it could easily snap and lose this fine lure. Overall, a very good find.

The treble hooks are made of some type of inexpensive alloy, definitely not steel. Lost at least one striped bass because of this reason. Also the rings are put together with poor quality welds that I believe cut the lines, making me lose 2 spoons. You get what you pay for so make sure to look for higher quality spoons. I'm trying the real deal Nichols spoons next time.
